One of the most famous features of Beinn Eighe is the corrie the “Triple Buttress Corrie” after the three large rock features, which dominate the view from the north.
It took us about 4 hours but we stopped many times for photos and had about 30 mins at the top for lunch. If you wanted to avoid some scrambling you could go up and down the right side of the trail to make it easier. The Triple Buttresses of Beinn Eighe, located in the stunning Coire Mhic Fherchair (pronounced byn ae and corry vic ere kair) and is one of the most impressive cliffs in Scotland. But the loop is much more fun that’s for sure. Beinn Eighe is a vast mountain, its crests and summits almost entirely made of quartzite. Trail passes through several different biomes. The mountain boasts 7 peaks, two of which are afforded Munro status. Do not walk when heavy raining.Nice loop with a steep portion for the first quarter or so, keep an eye out for the cairns to stay on track.
