Across the 3 hour run time, you see him do multiple dance styles (ballet and tap) incredible well, nail the dramatic character moments in scenes with his dad and grandmother, but the highlights have to be the comedic moments. It is pure joy at its finest.

It’s a very dynamic performance, and really captures the difficulty of creating normalcy and moments of joy for children living in such a chaotic environment.Set in the north of England, the actors do quite a good job of speaking and singing with a ‘northern’ accent, but you’ll need to attune your ears, as the dialog comes thick and fast, with plenty of swearing thrown in.

He can also sing beautifully and pull off a passable accent.

Watching a child perform with such talent, timing and finesse takes live theatre it to a whole new level and brings the magic to,A huge congratulations is deserved by the incredibly talented cast and production crew of,I loved what the creative team created with a clever and flexible set; such as the asymmetrical roof lines stepping down highlighting the working class, panels that slide out to change the set, sliding the window to reveal the closet, and pulling on a wall panel to have the ‘dunny block’ appear. Usually this would be fine but the story of Billy Elliot contains many arguments with actors yelling over the top of each other.
