I wouldn’t say there are groundbreaking statements, but a good reminder of important life concepts.I'm a huge Laird Hamilton fan and this was full of practical advice for a sustainable, active, healthy lifestyle.I was expecting to read an autobiography and dive deep into laird's life to learn about his life experiences, and stories behind all the incredible things that he does. This book is not an autobiography. Many of today’s top professional athletes and ).All you need to know is how big Laird's neck is to know that the dude is doing something right in his fitness regime. Let it run wild. I have been recommending this book to all of my friends and family. It is well put together and does inspire you to keep eating and living healthy! They lived on Oahu's North Shore and later in a remote valley on Kauai, not far from one of the world's best surf breaks. I read "The Secret", I thought it was a joke, complete garbage! October 28th 2008 I would complain that my pack (which was supposed to be my weight, always) was too heavy or I was too tired or the mosquitos were eating me alive. The world doesn’t need more conformists. Laird gives immensely wise information and tips regards diet, supplements, exercises and aiming for a healthy positive attitude, something that sorely missing from the majority of people in this day and age. Definitely want to start paddle boarding. I'm so glad I got this book - better than I thought it was going to be. Usually they were at the destination already and having a picnic which was a great reward. He is regarded as one of today's best-known big-wave surfers.

Seems me and the author has similar interest ! Most of the things in this book can be googled.I'm a sucker for Laird's Laws in Outside Magazine where Laird is shown hanging upside down from ancient Hawaiian trees suspended by only a knotted hemp rope, and where he talks about the importance of, say, rest days when it comes to overall health and performance.
