While at Woodville, spend time in the Hollywood bar and the Tiger lounge before you dine. Such a shame that it has been allowed to deteriorate to this state as it could be the most wonderful Heritage hotel, also, I felt sorry for the staff who were doing their best.The hotel needs a major injection of cash to bring it up to standard and it could be beautiful. May might be a good time to visit again.We were there in December for two nights, Hotel surrounding is very nice and very cold.

The most amazing aspect of Woodville is that no two rooms would necessarily be similar. Shown as Michelle McNally (played by Rani Mukherjee) house in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black, this is the place where she meets her trainer, Debraj Sahai (played by Amitabh Bachchan). The bathroom too needed attention - my shower wouldn’t shower it only worked from the tap and the water temperature was hard to control as it worked off an individual water heater. In the tradition of most heritage hotels, no two rooms are alike in décor and yet they offer that same high quality service and comfort to the guests. Mr. Sunil was our manager and he was so humble and polite.
