Being a heritage hotel we do have our challenges. Sure the corridors can be cold and the rooms need additional heaters but the warmth of the welcome more than compensates. The hotel is within walking distance of Shimla attractions - Gaiety Theatre, Groton Castle, Museum, Rothney Castle, Viceregal Lodge, Churches and other Colonial era buildings. Very well located for getting out and about in Shimla and an easy walk to downtown or the ropeway up to the monkey temple. The room was superb and the staff were brilliant.
